There are instructions and guides available free at DIY sites on the internet if you have a little prior experience and you really want to start from scratch. Alternatively, you can purchase woodworking plans which include complete instructions and full scale patterns.

You simply trace the patterns onto the timber and cut, so you can be confident of a perfect result. Some companies even offer technical support, so you can call or email a woodworking expert with any questions or problems should they arise.
