Beautifully designed patio cushions and patio furniture accessories let you enjoy outdoor living in comfort and style.

If your patio furniture is starting to look a little tired because the patio cushions have simply worn out, or if you just feel like giving the patio a little facelift, you’ll find there’s an absolutely amazing range of outdoor furnishings to choose from. Whether you prefer a relaxed, casual feel, or a more elegant designer look, in soft, warm subdued shades or dazzling, vibrant colors, you’re sure to find exactly what you’re looking for if you do a little shopping around online. If your patio furniture is unusually shaped and you’re having trouble finding patio cushions to fit, you can have them custom made to your specifications. You will normally need to provide measurements, photographs, and possibly a full size paper trace of the outline of the furniture piece.

Choosing patio cushions and patio furniture accessories which are made to last.

Look for high quality fabrics which have been treated for resistance to rotting, mildew, and fading under UV light. Fabrics treated with stain protection products such as scotchgard will invariably prove a very wise choice at some time or another. If you are buying cushions for the pool deck, or if you have very frequent rain, you might consider waterproof vinyl or PVC coated materials. There are high tech foam products now available which don’t become waterlogged the way conventional foam would if it was drenched in rain or pool water; the water literally flows through the foam and drains out the other side.

How well you care for your patio cushions will also determine how long they last. Have a safe, dry place to store them when they’re not being used, and be sure to always put them away when it’s raining heavily. If your patio cushions get damp, make sure you dry them first in a well ventilated place before storing them. If you live in a very sunny climate, shading your patio or deck with an awning, shade structure or even an umbrella will extend the life not only of your patio furniture and furnishings, but of the decking surface as well.
